I recently added the Out of Milk app to my phone and it's great! I thought an imbedded app of a similar nature in Kona - especially mobile - would be great. It not only allows you to create a shopping or to do list, but after you add, for example, butter, and buy butter, you can remove it from the list or just cross it off until you need it again. It's not just simple list creation, but a catalog of items that ebbs and flows in the user's control.

Christine Boermeester Thanks Shaun! We have a more complex prototype that we developed but never implemented, and were discussing today perhaps implementing a simpler version like a checklist. Very timely feedback.

Beth Reed I'm moving from a family organizer tool to one that can handle a more complex work/volunteer life while still letting me manage things at home, but a simple shopping list is one of the most important things my husband and I need to share! It could even be a standalone part of the mobile app - you don't carry your laptop to the grocery store. But a checklist feature would be very helpful for subtasks as well. -
Dan Moldover There's a great grocery list app that I've been using for a couple of years 'Ourgroceries' - http://www.ourgroceries.com/overview. It's interoperable between Android and iOS handsets (we have one of each) and synchs between the devices. You can even add items via the web. Not to steal from Kona's thunder, but it's a well developed app which is focused on that one purpose vs Kona's multi-faceted functionality.

Iris Lavarias This feature is now available! You can now add a checklist to a task. Check out this Knowledge Base article for the steps on how to do this: http://support.kona.com/entries/83905345-How-do-I-add-a-checklist-to-a-task-
