What happens if someone puts @MyName in a conversation, task, event, or file?

Conversation

If you are @ mentioned in a conversation, you will see a “You were mentioned” notification next to the conversation.  A muted conversation will be unmuted.  You will receive an immediate email notification about the mention unless you turn that option off in your profile.

Task

If you are @ mentioned in a conversation on a task, you will see a “You were mentioned” notification next to the conversation.  A muted conversation will be unmuted.  You will receive an immediate email notification about the mention unless you turn that option off in your profile.

Event

If you are @ mentioned in a conversation on an event, you will see a “You were mentioned” notification next to the conversation.  A muted conversation will be unmuted.  You will receive an immediate email notification about the mention unless you turn that option off in your profile.
