How do I turn on/off my notifications from Kona in the mobile app?

You can turn on (or off) the notifications from Kona and control what kinds of notifications you receive on your device.  
  • If you are using the Apple app: Go to Settings (Note: this is the device settings icon, not inside the Kona app) > Notifications > Kona and choose your notification settings in here. 
  • If you are using the Android app: Inside the Kona app click on "More" then "Settings." There is an option to "Turn on Notifications" or "Turn off Notifications" depending upon your current setting.

    Its not working on iphone, its working fine on android

    Hello,

    We were able to reproduce this issue on the Apple mobile application and it will be corrected in the next release of the app.

    Dear Christine

    I remembered one more thing that i though its major bug. Check the attached file, the names will always appear on top of the date and time which is annoying. I thought you should know and its great job you've made here

    I don't have an exact timeframe for a fix on the names overriding the date and time but it is in the queue.  I'm glad you're enjoying the mobile app!  We have new features that will be continuing to come out on the app too.

    I don't get any notifications on the iOS app. Is this still an open issue?

    Hi Gesly,

    We did resolve the issue the other user was having on the current version of the mobile app.  However, we have re-designed and re-coded the entire mobile app for the next release which should be before the end of the month.  I would suggest installing that version as soon as it's available and if you are still not seeing notifications, we can open a support ticket to troubleshoot for you.

    The mobile notifications worked for a few days and then stopped.  I checked my Kona app settings and the notifications are set to 'ON'.  I'm not getting notification emails either (excluding the daily ones).  I'm open to suggestions.

    Hi Peter,

    Here are a few things to try:

    • Sign out of the app. You can only receive notifications on one iOS device so signing in and out will refresh your device to be the last one to receive notifications again. To sign out, press the icon with three horizontal lines in the upper left, scroll to the bottom and press Settings, and then press Sign Out. After the sign out process finishes, sign back in again.
    • Check your device notifications settings for Kona (not the app). Press the Settings app and then press Notification Center. Scroll down to Kona and press that. Verify that the settings are the way you want.
    • Send us the support log of your device so we can troubleshoot further. Press the icon with the three horizontal lines in the upper left of Kona. Then scroll to the bottom and pick Support. Press "Logging Enabled" to turn it green. Then press "Cancel" and you'll be back on the space list. Press Settings and then press "Sign Out." Then log back in to the app again. Then shake your device and the support screen will come up again. This time press "Send" to send the log to support.
