How do you choose which space you want to be in on the mobile app?

    Hi Terri,

The mobile app shows all items from all spaces right now.  Navigating between spaces to see just items for a specific space will be available soon in an upcoming release.

Please hurry with the release! Kona mobile is pretty worthless in its current format and the web version is equally frustrating on an iPad.
For instance... If I click on a "conversation" (?), I get "Pete Buckley has created this conversation. Why should I care about this? If I tap the "?" In the upper right corner, it gives me the ability to change the event...conversation... whatever. What if I just want to view the item???
    Very frustrating.
Also, I should have to sync my iOS device to the calendar if I don't want to. A calendar should be available for viewing with the option of syncing.

    Hi Pete,

We just released a new version of the Apple iOS app today which will alleviate some of your issues.  I'd recommend upgrading to that version.  In particular, the calendar option for syncing or not and showing events has been improved.

If you want to view an item, you can select it from the list and the details screen will appear.  You do have the ability to change the information on that screen as well.

We are continuing to improve the mobile app and have more enhancements planned for future releases.  Thank you for your feedback as we continue to enhance the app!

I see no difference in the functionality. When I wan't to look at an event on the Kona iOS app, I see only the input screen that is prefilled with the event info. But, in fact, I only see part of the description if it is long. The only way to view it in its entirety, is to get on a laptop.
I'll look more at the app but right now, I see no descernable difference. Still clunky, still incomplete.

    Hi Pete,

Thanks for your feedback.  It is a work in progress and you will see improvement with each new release.  For example, navigation between spaces and space filtering is a big feature that is coming with the next release.

Christine, I downloaded the iOS version for both my iPhone and iPad today.  The first thing that I noticed is that it doesn't seem to support the device's orientation.  Meaning, if I hold it "landscape" rather than "portrait" it doesn't flip as all other iOS apps do.  The second thing that I noticed is that the navigation buttons on the bottom are almost completely off the screen.  In fact when I navigate to a chat, then the buttons on the bottom are not accessible.  I have to use the back button to get out of the chat.

    Hi Jerry,

That is an issue that we've identified with the iPad app when opened in landscape.  We have a fix in for expedited review with the Apple store so the next Kona app update will fix this issue.  In the meantime, if you open and use the app in portrait, it should work for you.

    Thanks,

    Christine

Can someone tell me if it is possible to view files that have been uploaded to my space using the mobile app?

    Hi Sarah,

At this time, you can view files that have been posted to a conversation by clicking on a link in the conversation.  A Files area is coming soon in a future release of the mobile app.

    Thanks,

    Christine

    Hi Shawn,

Thanks for your query, The file tab is is still on the roadmap for mobile on the iphone version.

Today, you can add pictures via the mobile app. To do that, from the conversations screen, choose the conversation you want to add a picture to Click the square icon at the bottom left of the screen to enter expanded comment mode. In expanded comment mode, you will have a larger window to view your typed response and options for @mentioning, marking the comment urgent, and/or adding a picture to the conversation.

    Regards,

    Iris
