How do I turn on or off the Kona daily planner e-mail?

Receiving the Kona daily planner email is an option available in your profile.  To access your profile, click on your picture or name located in the upper right corner of Kona and select “My Profile”.  Click the “Notifications” section at the top of the pop-up window.  To turn ON the daily planner, click the envelope icon on that line to make it turn black (enabled).  To turn OFF the daily planner, click the envelope icon to make it turn gray (disabled).  Then click “Save” in the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

There's no “Email Notifications” section of my profile and I can't uncheck my e-mail address button. I want to turn off the daily e-mail!!!

    Hi Pat,

There is a small scroll bar on the right side of your profile.  If you can grab that and scroll down, you should see the Email Notifications section.  Let me know if that doesn't work for you.

    Thanks,

    Christine

    Hi Christine,

Thanks for this posting - I have shut off the notifications to "send daily planner emails."

However, my need is more focused around one specific task.  I would still like to receive 'daily planner e-mails' for incomplete tasks, and yet have the option to stop receiving these daily e-mails for one of my completed tasks.  Regarding the task I no longer want to receive daily e-mails, I have done the following: 1) Marked the task complete 2) Muted the conversation and 3) The site owner has retired our space.  What else, if anything, can I do besides unchecking the option for all planner e-mails?

    Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca,

What you've described is a defect that I've reported to development so we can fix it in a future release.   Thank you!

Has this been fixed? An employee has been receiving daily planner emails with a list of completed tasks in his "Things To Do Today." I turned on my daily planner to find the same thing happening in mine. Are we both doing something wrong or is this an on-going defect?

    Thank you,

    Heidi

    Hi Heidi,

The daily planner defect has not yet been resolved.  If you would like to remove those tasks from the daily planner, at this point, you would need to remove yourself from the task entirely.

    Thanks,

    Christine
