You can create a space at any time. On the My Kona page, click the Spaces icon in the left sidebar and choose “Add.” Another option is to click “Add Space” from the Space page. Click here to learn more about the Space page.
To create a new space: Enter a name for your space in the Space Name field. Then specify if the space should be categorized in the Work or Personal section. Add a description to display with your space name across Kona and add some personality to your space by choosing an image from your computer or the Kona image library. The picture also helps members easily identify and connect with your space while in Kona. Finally, choose a color to identify the tasks and calendar events related to this space. When you’re done, click “Next” in the lower right. On the next screen, you can enter a lengthy description to orient your team to the space. When you’ve finished typing, click “Add.” You will be able to edit this description later by clicking on the “About this space” link on the right side of the space. After clicking “Add,” you can add people to the space now or “Skip This” to begin building your space before issuing invitations.
