You can create a space at any time by simply clicking the Spaces icon in the left sidebar and choosing “Add.” Another option is to click “Add Space” from the Space page. Click here to learn more about the Space page.
To create a new space: Enter a name for your space in the Space Name field. Then, specify if the space should be in the Work, Personal or a custom category section. Choose a color to identify the tasks and calendar events related to this space. Add a description to display with your space name across Deltek Collaboration and add some personality to your space by choosing an image from your computer or the Deltek Collaboration image library. The picture also helps members easily identify and connect with your space while in Deltek Collaboration. Check the "Enable Conversation Guests" box to allow non-space members to be guests on conversations in this space. In the "Guidance" field, you can enter a lengthy description to orient your team to the space. When you’re done, click “Add.” You will be able to edit this description later by clicking on the “Edit guidance” link on the right side of the space home page. After clicking “Add,” you can add people to the space now or “Skip This” to begin building your space before issuing invitations.
