How can I work with someone in a different time zone?

Kona enables you to work with people from all over the world. To successfully work across different time zones, users must set their set Kona profile and their computer clock to their current time zone. 

 

Setting Your Profile

-Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen.

-Click “My Profile.”

-Select the correct option from the list under “Time Zone.”

Setting Your Computer

On a PC:

-Go into the “Control Panel” on your desktop.

-Click on “Date and Time” from the list of computer settings. 

-Click “Change Time Zone.”

-Select the correct option from the list under “Time Zone.”

 

Alternative route on PC:

-Click the “Start” button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

-Type “Time Zone” in the search bar.

-Select “Date and Time,” third item from the top of the list.

-Click “Change Time Zone.”

-Select the correct option from the list under “Time Zone.”

On a Mac:

-Click on the Date and Time listed in the top right corner of the screen.

-Click “Open Date & Time.”

-Make sure the “Time Zone” tab is open.

-Select from options next to “Closest City.”

 

Alternative route on Mac:

-Click the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen.

-Type “Time Zone” in the search box, called “Spotlight.”

-Click “Date & Time,” listed next to “System Preferences.”

-Make sure the “Time Zone” tab is open.

-Select from options next to “Closest City.”

If a user is traveling to a different time zone, they must change their computer and Kona profile to the new time zone, and then refresh their browser.
