How do I make a calendar event recurring? What options do I have?

Recurring calendar events is a handy feature in Kona.

To create a recurring event:

  1. Click on the Events tab in My Kona or a specific space.
  2. Type your event name into the “Add an event” entry field at the top.
  3. Click the calendar icon to the right of either the start or end time.
  4. Click the link next to the Repeats section under the popup calendar.
  5. Use the drop-down fields to set your event to recur when you wish.  Your options are:
    1. Every week, weekday, day, month, or year
    2. Every other week, weekday, day, month, or year
    3. Every third week, weekday, day, month, or year
    4. Which specific days of the week the recurrence should happen: click the appropriate box or boxes for Sunday (Su), Monday (M), Tuesday (Tu), Wednesday (W), Thursday (Th), Friday (F), or Saturday (Sa).
    5. When the recurring event should end: enter the date.

How do I make a recurring event occur on the 3rd Monday of the month?

    Hi Rana,

That option is not currently available in Kona although it can be added as a feature request ( http://support.kona.com/forums/20077528-feature-requests/entries/new).  At this point, since there isn't a specific number of weeks in between your events, I would recommend setting the events up as individual events.

I followed the instructions, but I am having  trouble getting my recurring events to show on the calendar.  In the event is says it is recurring at 6pm every Thursday, but the event only shows on the first day.  Am I doing something incorrect?

    Hi Michelle,

I'll open a support case with you so we can investigate this.
