How do I delete a document?

Click on the document to open the document details popup.  Click the Delete link at the bottom of the screen to remove the document.

Note: If the document was uploaded to an item instead of directly to the Documents tab, you may not see the Delete link if you do not have edit rights to the original item.  Space owners can delete anything they can see in a space.

Be aware that the delete button is only avalible in Internet Explorer. If you are using a native Mac browser - this is a workaround:

    1. create a new folder
    2. move the files you want to delete to this new folder
    3. Delete the new folder

    Hi Carsten,

You should be able to delete a file that you have uploaded into Kona, even from a native Mac browser.  I will open a support case with you so we can research your situation further.

When I click on a file, it opens the file.  I never get a file details popup so I am not able to delete.  Any ideas?

Cancel that.  If I use Chrome it works.  IE9 didn't work for me.

    Hi Aaron,

In IE9, I'm able to get into the file details popup.  I'll open up a support case with you so we can investigate this.

    Thanks,

I was having this problem in IE9 as well (popup not appearing). I refreshed the entire web page and then the popup appeared. The web page seems to think that the popup is already displayed, when in fact it is hidden. I'm not sure how I got into this situation, but I did have other popups open previously.

    Hi Alan,

The other user who was running into this problem was able to resolve it by installing Chrome Frame for IE here: http://www.google.com/chromeframe?quickenable=true.  If that does not resolve the issue for you, please open a support case so we can investigate this further.

    Thanks,

    Christine
