If your link to a picture on another website is showing strangely in Kona, it's possible that you have a “Wordpress” extension installed on your Chrome browser. To fix this issue, you can do one of three things:
- Check that you are using a link that does not contain html code. You can right-click on the picture and choose "Copy image URL." A sample URL would look something like: "http://cache.boston.com/images/ads/bostonworks/highlight_ad/bworks_highlight_082010.jpg."
- Click the button on the top right corner of your browser that looks like a stack of horizontal lines. From there, click Tools > Extensions. Next to the “Wordpress” plugin you can uncheck “enabled” to disable the plugin, or you can click the trash can to remove the plugin from your browser completely.
- Click the button on the top right corner of your browser that looks like a stack of horizontal lines. From there, click Tools > Extensions. Select “Options” for the “Wordpress” plugin and add www.kona.com to the list of URL’s that it should ignore. This option will allow you to keep the plugin and still use Kona successfully.
